Hi Antti, thanks for your response! I will certainly get the Hitachi. Now, question... if I were to sell my 750 Starter Solenoid, what would be a reasonable asking price for that? I also have the complete fuse box with all the wiring attached for the 750 Paso in very good condition also but don't have an idea what to ask for it!!! As usual, thanks for your time and response.

Regards,

Vickon

Going to Hitachi(good quality for good price) is best way to get rid of those starting solenoid problems in 750 Paso. Nowbody want that Lucas unit so much, so its better, that You keep that in garrage, if You want to put Your Paso to "historic mode" one day. I cant say price for that, but surely is quite small amount of money... I have also one Lucas unit still, but cant see any use for it, "only for future"...

You need to do small modification to wires, when put that Hitachi unit, but that can be done easily, i mean that "small current connector" to Hitachi unit. If You cant do that, ask some local electrician to weld wires to unit, or search suitable connector. Not so bad job...

It would be a nasty thing to do, selling that solenoid. Hang it on the wall of you garage and give it the finger when you start your bike!

There is a wiring harness on ebay right now so maybe that will give you an idea of selling price. Put it up on ebay and take your chances.
