Maybe ST2 sylinders/pistons to get 944cc, then porting, open air filter, like K&N, open exhaust, ST2 cams surely, FIM Eprom with AMB, if U have 91 modell and finetune it in dyno with FIM software... maybe lighter flywheel and lighter clutch...

Easiest and usually most bang for da buck is HiComp pistons.
Also heard many speak positively about a welltuned FIM chip, even w a bike w just open air & exhaust.

I think, very many, who have driven Pasos, need one day more power.... But surely then change to more expensive bikes and surely hobby start to coast much more money also... I have seen that with ST4S(very difficult bike to maintain).

Raicerx,

Assuming you've already upgraded the exhaust, air cleaner, and chip, you've got 2 choices. Either:

944 kit, or

High compression piston kit. This includes 12.5:1 high compression pistons, more radical cam, larger valves, and port work for intake and exhaust ports.

I have the piston kit in one my 907ies. Power increased from 79 to 93hp, rear wheel, (dynoed at FBF). My buddy has the 944 kit in his 907ie. Almost identical power. Of course, since the 944 kit uses regular pistons, it's not as hard on the motor and presumably will last longer.

I don't know if there's a high compression piston for the 944 kit. Probably yes, but I haven't seen one. If there is, then you could go with that, which would probably take you to about 115 hp, rear wheel.

I don't know where you're located, but FBF, in Philadelphia, does both the high compression kit and the 944 kit for the 907ie. At least they used to; maybe those days are gone.

Good luck!

Elton

Here's an alternative from FBF

These Forged CNC machined high-compression piston kits are manufactured specifically for Ducati's nikasil cylinders for a perfect fit. Kits come complete with pistons, rings, pins, and clips for drop-in convenience.
