Fuel gauge flopping around.

Hi all, are there a quick, smart fix for when the fuel gauge is flopping all over the
scale when the tank isn`t full to the brim?? Mine is and it is
driving me crazy seeing the bloody thing flopping about.

Just be sure that the plastic bulb at the end of the gauge hasn't any drop of fuel inside.
I learned to ignore the trouble and refuelling... before it's too late!
