Wind buffeting

Post by tom444 »

Hi guys,

Ridden a lot of bikes in my day. But one thing I've experienced with the 907, is that it doesn't like a good crosswind. Of course I live in the desert where we get pretty high winds, but I must say, it is not fun to get thrown around the freeway when the winds are up a bit. Anybody expiriencing this?

That is fairly common and normal for a bike with fairing. Heck, I've heard of guys noticing a difference with Harleys between solid disk wheels and spoked wheels. The disk wheels do not allow the wind to go through them like spoked wheels.
