I have had the same problem and, after cheking lots of sensors, filters, etc, etc...the mechanic found the problem...It is called: FUEL REGULATOR PRESSURE!!!! It can be fixed...don't need a new one. Part number 2834001 1A.

I agree - the fuel pressure must be regulated to 3 bar.
This is the EFI design operating pressure for the 907ie.
This was one of the first things I suggested to check (see earlier posts)...
