New RPM sensor needed

Post by Daniel Gehrs »

My 1991 907IE is in need of a new RPM sensor which is referred to in the Parts Book as a "Proximity Switch", part #55240051A. I would like to buy a new one if possible and would appreciate any leads for dealers, etc. that might have one. I'm told that this part may also have been used on the 851 or other model of this era so it may not be totally unique to the 907. I would also consider buying a serviceable used one if need be. Replies can be sent to me directly at dan@dgwines.com. Thanks and Happy Holidays.
