907ie manufactured years

Hi guys long time no talk;
I have a question for all who may be able to help. At what time of year did the first 907 come out for sale and what was the date they changed to the gold brakes late 91 or early 92 ? and what were the other changes to the bike in that time frame?

And why do they have 906 on the name plate,

Mine, registred 1/1 -92, has black Brembos. I guess early -92 they switched to gold and with them came the 320mm front discs. That`s all they changed IIRC.

Thanks for the freed back, I thought the change to the gold brembos was in early 92 as well, but I came across a unit that was plated 9/91 with gold Brembos and 320 discs? that's why the question.

Keep in mind that quite all the "92" 907 were made on 91.
On the 92 they built only few 907 and the production stopped on late 92.
Unfortunately, at this moment, I don't have mine Ian Fallon "bible" but, if I well remember, those modification to the 907 were made on the bikes built on the late 91.
It seems to me that there were also a little modification on the clutch.
As soon as I come back to my home I'll can solve all the doubts
