Re: Ignition Barrel Required?
I guess your 2 907ie locks have the same length (from mounting plate to upper edge)

Re: Ignition Barrel Required?
checking the part numbers of the upper triple: both P750 & 906 have the same part number (0370037143), the one of the 907ie is 34110141A.
So although the part numbers of the key switches of P750 & 906 are different they are definetely interchangeable.
I do have a spare P750 triple tree so I can confirm tomorrow if the mounting holes of the P750/906 switch are different compared to the 907ie ones (as I seem to remember) and if the locking pin is at the same position.
At the end they may be all interchangeable if one can live with a shorter or longer key switch and if the mounting holes are filed out a bit. We`ll see...

Re: Ignition Barrel Required?
Gerhard, I got my spare switch assembly out today and will take a caliper to it and post a pic with dimensions. At least we can lay it to rest. Have not found a key so taking further apart is not an option at the moment
maybe US version is different?

Re: Ignition Barrel Required?
I can confirm today that distance of the mounting holes is the same on all Paso switches (there were some small washers stuck in my 907ie switch that`s why it didn`t fit correctly on the upper P750 triple tree)
The locking pin is also on the same position, so the only difference is the height of the upper barrel. That`s 39mm on the 907ie lock and 52mm on the P750/906 lock. (The connector on all is the square one with 6 round pins in it)
So if you have a 907ie you can use a P750/906 lock and it will stick out 1cm which is ok, vice versa it will work also but it will look like this

Q.E.D. Indeed
So if I understand you correctly the picture is of a 907 switch in a 750/906 upper tree ?
Just want to be sure

yes, correct (you need small fingers to turn the key, but it works)

Re: Ignition Barrel Required?
here`re 2 of Antti`s pictures.
As Francesco mentioned before there seem to exist two types of switches for the 907ie (although there`s only one upper triple clamp). The short one like on my photos and the longer one which is basically the same as the one of the P750/906 with the longer barrel (this is the same one as on Higgy`s 906)
