I called them this morning and was also told that they had some front and rears in both Michelin and Pirelli for £300 per pair but that they would first have to check the exact stock situation in their warehouse. They later called me to say that they only had one Pirelli 130/60-16 front tyre and no rears. I bought the Pirelli.

Pirelli????
If the last Michelin tires were made on 2004, the Pirelli 16" tires has been no longer made since earlier '90, as far as I know.
Check about what you're buying, above all about the age of its production.
