Anyone found a 100mm convex mirror glass. Closest I have found so far is 95mm

I've been casually watching for a replacement piece of glass, also. I've found some that were close, but not perfect (as you have found), but I can't find them locally. I'd hate to spend $7+ for shipping of a $2 part.

Walmart, 3 bucks, convex 95mm close works good not a perfect fit tho.. same thing at many auto stores. At most auto stores you can get a blank for 4 bucks, not a convex you can cut with scissors to fit. I have had no luck this side of the pond for 100mm. The euro guys don't seem to care :dunno: I did find one convex on a plastic pedestal that rotates,it was 3 bucks and you can rotate it easily on the fly with a gloved hand, but the tape was weak. In the end I might get some good tape and put them on both sides, the rotation allows for fine tuning very quickly. I find it allows for those baggy pant days

95mm are 3-3/4", right ?

I didn`t find any 4" (100mm) convex mirrors, but finding 100mm flat ones is no problem. The original ones are also flat.
i.e.

in Germany you can find 100mm round flat mirrors in craft supply shops

95.25 mm is 3.75 inch not that anyone will notice 1/4 mm
100mm is 3.94 just enough less than 4 inch to fit the plastic mount not that I have found a 4 inch mirror. found 4 and a quarter in convex
Just might have to give them a go,30 mirrors for 13 bucks is quite a deal

took a lot of digging but I found a scientific mirror glass supplier that had 100mm convex with a focal length of 250mm,blackened silver backing on glass should be a good quality replacement.
I'll post here when I get them

Bought 4 mirrors delivered for 32.17. Not the best silvering job I have seen but they do work and fit well, just a little spotty up close makes them look like they need a good cleaning up close. Took some bon ami cleaner too them and it is definitely the silvering not the surface. Overall I give them a b grade. Good image and perfect focal length.
