Ignition lock again... my bike stop working, no lights no neutral light no start, take the ignition lock off to see if the problem was here, and it was, melted the inside of the plastic casing!!! :(

So i need a ignition lock to run my bike again, anyone knows what type ducati "bike" is the one in the foto?

I have read that the Gilera SP01 has the same ignition lock, anyone can confirm this???

Are you really sure is the lock? Have you tried to by pass it?
I guess that lock is from a 916.

Take it apart and bring it at the Ducati dealer...
Besides, check on ebay: sometimes you can find something.

Ask him if there is the lock too. By the pics, it seems included.

Hi,

It also looks alot like the ignintion lock/barrel on my 1994 supersport from the photo you have........probably the same as the one on the 916 as well?

I can get a photo and probably some dimension and wiring details on the supersport ignition lock/barrel on the weekend if it's useful (sadly I no longer have access to a 916!)

cheers,

Mick

Please see this link for the repair of an ignition barrel - if its not too far gone. Thanks to a thread from the 907 forum.
