Pictures of 900 engine rebuild

Post by pasolloyd »

I have a pile of pictures that show an engine dis-assembly, assembly process from my '96 900 SS. They are all high quality digital, but I have nowhere to post them. I think they would be of much interest to the group and welcome any suggestions as to where they can be posted. There are about 135 images.

Here is a sample:

'91 907ie
'96 900 SS SP
'97 900 SS CR (for sale)
'74 750 GT (since new - sort of)
'85 Pantah 600 (sold, but not forgotten)

This: http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/ is very easy tool to make fotos/pictures smaler, but better keep camera in high accurate mode when take pictures and download first them to pc and then use Easy thumbnail program and then delete originlas from pc...One of my friends who is photographer told this way and it function very well...

there`s no need. If you login to Photobucket select "bulk uploader". You`ll get to a new page with a blank white field on the bottom. Below that it says "max. image size ... more options" If you click "more options" you`ll get a pop-up which will allow you to select file or picture size. Select 640x480 or 800x600 and save. Then select the pics to be uploaded and upload. The pics will be resized automatically when uploaded.

Very cool, can't wait to see the pics. I am getting ready to tear my motor down for a rebuild, Your timing is perfect.

OK. Pics are in Photobucket at http://s892.photobucket.com/albums/ac13 ... %20engine/

I will also uplad a complete 916 tear-down and rebuild which includes main bearings etc. when I get some time. The 907ie is next...

Browse away. I will try to put them in some sort of order. Don't know why they got re-sorted.

Pics of a 916 engine repair/rebuild are up. Not paso specific, but related as the cases are virtually identical to the 907ie.
Find them here:
