the Champion RA6YC were discontinued a long time ago. The DIRECT replacement is the RA6HC, not the RA8HC which depending on your state of tune may be too hot a plug

There have been many discussion here on just that subject, While I normally wouldn't put champions in my lawn mower
Many here swear they are a noticeable improvement over the rest and also recommend the RA6HC as the very best choice for any Paso
You can order the RA6HC here http://championiridium.com/

Here is one such thread you can find by using the search function here  iridium plugs: if you havn't- try it.

Yeah, I long had the opinion the Champion plugs were not good quality in general, but they seem to be the best in my 1990 Sport. I was skeptical, but after trying them, they run better than the NGK plugs. My local auto parts shop sells them for less than $3.00. Now that I think about it, its been a while, and I should probably change them.

hmmm interesting. I had been chasing an issue with my 450cc 907ie single. [Hori cyl not firing]
I had changed plug wires and new spark plugs when getting the bike sorted after buying it and it had run Ok.[not that I ride it much]

Any way I swapped the coils with the others from the restoration bike, ECU, etc.
There was a spark at the plug, but was running out of ideas, so I put back in the old NGK I had taken out, mmmm fired up perfectly......dud new plug?
