Christchurch NZ Earthquake
So,
Reports of the last aftershock centred on Lyttleton and damage to the tunnel made me think of what it might be like to be caught in there during a quake......shudder.....
Which prompted me to ask if all the kiwi board members in ChCh are all safe and sound with minimal damage to their surrounds I hope?
Cheers,
Mick

Re: Christchurch NZ Earthquake
Hi Guys,
Would expect that it will still take some days before we hear from any Paso owners in Christchurch. No deaths and few injuries but plenty of damage. However, at this time checking your favourite web site could be a bit of a low priority, assuming communication, electrical supplies and your PC are still good.
Here in Wellington, about 400km away, it woke us up on the Saturday morning.
Cheers,
Fraser.

Re: Christchurch NZ Earthquake
Fraser - have to agree. My intent was to make it so when they do get power sorted and kids back to school etc and get to logging on there's a topic waiting asking after their general well being
From what I've heard from others back that way it was really really lucky it struck at the time of day it did (4am ish?) so the pubs and clubs were empty but the day hadn't really started yet.
Scary stuff.

Re: Christchurch NZ Earthquake
that bike would've looked better in black and gold.... hope everyone is ok from the effects of the quake. those freek waves sound nasty afterwards. guess i would rather live in the hills than on the coast.

Me ? long memory.... doubt it ! , well maybe for some things .One of my friends went to work in Oz ( like most of the rest of NZ ) and met some shela and bought her home ( she is a lovely girl )and so there has been a bit of " aussie bashing " going on here lately , all in fun ( actually , I think I may have met my match with this one woman kiwi bashin' team.... I had no idea we were such assholes )
