Gremlings in 750 Paso dashboard

Post by Finnpaso »

Little funny story: I tested today (after 6 monthes) my 750 Paso in street and find out something very "special" in my dashboard: When i put blinker to left, that arrow in dash showed RIGHT(!!!) and when i put blinker to right, dash showed LEFT. Same time as it was blinking, fuel meter went from normal level to top same frequency as blinker!!!! hahahahahahahahahaha..... Gremlings somewhere :fart: When i put blinker to left, it turned also left bliker on/off, like should, so blinkers worked in "reality" well, but only dash showed via versa. Bike have been in warm garage whole time (6 monthes from last start), so what is going on? Ok, one possibility is some shit / bad connections in dash circuit board, what have to look closer next winter, but anyone have had similar problems????? Little courious now..... :fart: Btw, no any mods to bike inside that 6 monthes. :smoke:

Btw, these "gremlings" are NOT COMING from spirit, like Vodka, or Koskenkorva, as i dont drink and drive same time, no matter it is saturday (Sauna eve) and weekend.... Just now i am only drinking after hot sauna...

Hi Antti,Time to check and clean earth connections .
I well remember the 1st time I saw a bike with an intermitant faulty instrument earth...... just about couldnt believe what I was seeing , which was confusing as there may have been other reasons for that .... at the time ( yeah , that was a weekend and a 1/2 ).Yeah , I wish I was young again, Id be heaps smarter than the 1st time I was young , and anyhow your supposed to have gremlins somewhere on your bike . You are luckier than most in that you know where they are, so stop moaning :P and get on with relocating them. You will never get rid of them , you just need to encourage them to go someplace else on your bike for a while, and it can take a while for them to get there too, so you get to ride round wondering what is going to crap out next
Are you one of the Dudesons :?:
I wish I was young again............Id be heaps smarter than last time

I think I recall this type of signal malfunction occuring in cars when bulbs get corroded in their socket. Hope that helps.
