British Paso Owners Get Together 2011

Post by englishstiv »

Any chance you could just just link your details to this thread. Please just note what it is you've got, on the road or what state in, or just an enthusiast, also your location (City or County or both) Country.

I mentioned it somewhere else and need some inspiration to get my 907ie that is in bits back on the road.

Thinking of putting together a weekend meet (Fri/Sat/Sun) Summer/Autumn next year 2011............Are you interested?

I'll start this off.

Ducati 907ie, Stripped for rebuild, Manchester, Lancs. England.

I am just getting an idea on numbers more details to follow and I'll try and keep this link alive as time goes by.

Thank you

A meet up sounds good!

Based east London/Essex border

Currently 2 pasos

907ie - MOT'd and running. Needs belts and oil for next MOT
750 Paso - New mot and running. Will do valves over winter and replace carb with something else

907 better tourer, 750 better sports bike. Maybe the 906 is the best of all!

Uhmmmm, perhaps the 906 is the worse: heavy as the 907, but less braking and reliability.

Definitely up for it plus I'll bring my brother in law.

Rogero - 907ie fully running and used regularly based currently in Cardiff. But distance not an issue.

Mike aka Geoff - 907is based near Chester.

I met a guy on Bodmin Moor last week on a 907 from Oxford and told him about the site. I was on my ST3 with the missus on the back on our hols - hope he finds the site! His wife was on her own MV !!

I'm up for it.

I'm based in London but the bike (907ie) is based in West Wales. Distance not an object.

At present yes I am hopeful that we can get a few like minded folk together dependent on those showing an interest thus far we have

Englishstiv Manchester
DaveM Wirral
riascns London / Essex
Rogero Cardiff
Mike Chester
Rhino West Wales
nnnnnnorman Lewes, Sussex
desmodave Yorkshire
Duc750 Northampton.

So we are spread around a bit, I will wait a while longer before putting dates together but it will be later in the year and at minimal cost to us all, I am also aware that like myself a few of you have bikes that are at present being rebuilt or in some state of undress under going repairs, so you might not be on your bike, so maybe other transport may be required?

Please add your name and paste the list on your reply, don't forget to add your locality and the present state of your bike plus what you've got if you are also interested.

I'll be up for this, my 907 is in regular use but might take a month or so out April-June time.
Theres a few on ducatisti forum and DOCGB with Paso's would be up for it too.
Could be quite a bash!
Im from Essex. can someone paste me on the list please. Cheers, Keith.

Don't mean to be an arse but I thought it was a Paso run?

I am NOT - in any way - opposed to any other ducatisti coming BUT if any duke can come them the Pasos will be in the minority. I'd rather there were only a few of us (all bitching about the same thing) - otherwise why not go on a Ducati run? Vehicular support is one thing but a stack of other dukes - changes the whole flavour.
