1986 Ducati 750 Paso good condition. Had minor clutch issues when I drove it. Been sitting in my garage for 4 years and have to move. Its a classic bike will let it go to the highest bidder.

Re: $800 Paso on Craigslist
This is the one I bought. The "minor" clutch issue is what I have been discussing on here. The bearing is exploded and there is no button! I am trying to get one now.
I have had to rebuild the carb as well as it was dry as a bone with dirt in thce float bowl.
The good news is that it is complete I have it running now I am working on the carb adjustments. The body is full of dings so it will be getting a complete repaint.
Most likely Fly Yellow with the stock Gray on the bottom or maybe Faux Carbon Fiber. The seat is getting "micro rips" little tears so I am going to recover it maybe the solo look with the yellow cowl look with a black solo seat look.
I will keep everyone updated.

Re: $800 Paso on Craigslist
I felt the $800 was fair. It did have a title and that can be a problem sometimes.
It will be a very nice bike when done.
I feel these are much like Ferrari's in the sense that at this point the 750 Paso is not really collectible at this point.
The 246 Dino was never popular when they were built and was always soft in the market. It was replaced by the 308 which everyone loved and and very popular.
Today you can buy a 308 for $30,000-$40,000 A 246 Dino will cost you $240,000!
There will come a time when the Paso is more valuable than a newer 900ss
because of its rarity.
Just my humble opinion.

I agree that the Paso tho generally unloved now, will be a keeper for the long run.
Here's a pic of my old Paso on yellow and white.

Hey SoCal
Believe me when I say you need to take the "Before" and "After" photos - that'll reaffirm the pride of your efforts.
So lets see that "Before" photo

Re: $800 Paso on Craigslist
Let me see what I can do this weekend...this was going to be a quick and dirty but it is not turning out that way.
Let me see if I can post a couple of pic of a one of kind Suzuki 125 GP racer I did a few years ago.
I hope no one minds they are not Ducati's. I like all types of bikes.
Besides, the Paso I am working on I have a 1965 Honda 305 Scramber I will start after the Ducati and a 1975 Yamaha DT400 Enduro.
As far as bikes I have owned or built:
1977 RD 400
1983 Harley-Davidson XR1000
1987 Harley-Davidson FXLR
1947 Harley-Davidson FL "Knucklehead"
1999 Pro-One Pro Street Harley
1993 Ducati 900ss Superlight.
and more...just highlights...so I tend to be all over the place on bikes!

Re: $800 Paso on Craigslist
This is a Harley I "rescued" from the getto!
I traded a dirt bike for it.
The good news was it had a great motor, Harley Screaming Eagle heads, carb, ignition, cams and pushrods.
I sold what I did not want on ebay and bought what I needed on there as well.
So all told I am into the bike for under $4,000.00
