Yikes!!
I think the Ugly discount on an a classic bike should be about $1,000. $1200 for a 20 year old non-running bike that needs paint is probably fair. How much sanding does it take to get rid of that amount of ugly? Maybe just flat black with skull and crossed swords is most appropriate at this point.

It may be ugly, but 2k for a low mileage 906 ain't bad. Whats with the plastic tank?.This guy may be among the clueless ready for a good fleecing, maybe  Anyone ever hear of a plastic tank replacement for a 906? A bad solenoid at that mileage ? somethin fishy here I think  besides the paint

"Plastics/Tank needs paint" I think he means that the body panels, fairing, and the tank need painting because they are so disgraceful. What do you guys think? Owner must be no slouch if he can indeed tune that carby.

Bevel Heaven has one up for sale,
“One of the rarest Ducati’s ever, this 350SC is believed to be one of only six or seven series 2 350 SC bikes the factory ever built, originally built for the Barcelona endurance races, they were totally unique in having sand cast engine cases, different valve angles and heavily drilled, lightened and polished internals including the crankshaft, differing greatly from the road going versions and also use a twin spar frame.

This particular bike's covered no miles since it was rebuilt some years ago by the very well known and respected British Ducati race engine builder Anthony Ainsley using new factory parts.

There is a spares kit with the bike which includes a new factory special double web race rod set, straight cut upper bevel set, good second hand piston, special factory tools, information pack, and other parts .

Other details include original factory supplied alloy tank and fairing, Veglia competition rev counter, checked and x-ray’d Oldani magnesium brakes, 32mm SS1 Del Orto carb and original rims with stainless spokes.

The bike was brought into the UK many years ago by me from South Africa where Ducati had sent it along with Franco Farne' to promote the brand down there.

Moto Marianna have checked the engine over thoroughly and can confirm it’s as new condition.

These engines were unburstable, proved by London dealer, Vic Camp holding one at max revs for a long period of time to check its strength! (very sophisticated test methods in the 60’s!). Suffice to say, it did not destruct.

I have more pictures available, happy to mail.

Happy to arrange shipment at cost if required - bike located in the UK.

Mail me on maurice.stewart-ashley@lsi.com or call John on +44 1449 612900

Asking £33000.00

Selling in a vain effort to thin out my collection.

a 350Sc is not a 350 Paso. The 350 Paso was never built as far as I know.

Btw that hidious yellow Paso was for sale already longer time ago at some car dealer. I think it was in Canada not the US.

Different front fairing shape, mufflers and no grab handle in rear. I think, this foto is in some Ian Falloon's book. :smoke:

that bike doesn`t exist. If at all it was a prototype with an Indiana engine. There are small models of the SS in Italy and Japan which cannot be found elsewhere but not of the Paso.

If no mirrors and front blinkers, then cant register it for street use ...surely!

There is in Mick Walker's book "Ducati 2-valve twins" foto (side 53.) about both thesekind Pasos, front 750 and background 350, samekind mufflers, front fairing, no mirrors, no grab handle, etc... It is from Milan 1985 Show and there reads about 350: "intended solely for the domestic markets". I think, they never started to produce/sell those 350cc bikes in markets and all of them are only "pre production modells" (to show, how they look). Anyway such is very rare and MAYBE expensive also, caused that only few have done (not to street use at all). I wouldnt invest to such, as what i can get from it? Nothing, as i cant put it never to street use and any Paso doesnt come "so rare" in my lifetime... :) ..and ONLY 350 cc engine !!!!
