Who are "OCC boys" or "xchopper" Higgy??? The way the guy writes it sounds like he's spent more time "down the river" than he ever has in uniform. Even Back-patch/Outlaw bikers aren't that ignorant (well . . . usually)

That bike is probably not one of a hundred - it's probably unique!!!

He can't write - Frankly I'm surprised he can read.

But . . . if I were you I'd walk away mate, before it gets nasty. Been there, done that and I don't care what anyone says - it wan't much fun at the time.

I saw the add of the so called Tricolore as genuine. And the idiot price.
IMO it's a fake. only in '88/'89 there where some different kinds of tricolore, with 851 tri as most famous.
So I didn't pay it any attention as it is not worth the fuss.
I'm surprised to hear all the tremor here.

Yeah he does certainly seem to be of the shall we say less educated among human beings ? The OCC and xchoppers line was a joke.. OCC is orange county choppers they actually once had Ducati for a while and are near Newburg NY which is in Orange county They have a cable show,maybe you have heard of it or seen it American Chopper.. A Paso once made it into the background of the show. If in fact he is a GI, I didn't know they had recalled broom pushers

Not that there is anything wrong with pushing a broom for a living

xchoppers was a bonehead showed up here a while back,had some 'unique opinions' on all sorts of issues

Like I said,i could care less about this guy or his 'rare 907 superbike le monster tricolore"

just don't want to see our bikes maligned or watch some poor soul get suckered.
I also have a large stake in keeping the riff raff off ebay.

Oh and he was not hard to find. Perhaps 60 minutes would be interested in a series on protecting yourself from ebay scammers

he could have all the attention he deserves

Today I am meeting up with a couple of the Desmo guys for Rombo Rossi DOC's Italian bike day. They cover the Orange county area(Desmo that is). I will ask if they have run into this guy at any of their meets.

So far he has no bids and it ends today in about 16 hours currently it is at 5k, perhaps a fair price if in fact the bike is in good shape. Funny in his first attempt he stated emphatically he would not lower his price from 8.5 k

Higgy have you tried a reverse phone number look up. I started it got to city Monroe NY, just did not care enough to pay 2.00 to complete it.
