these endless tire discussion always make me freak out

Sorry for this, it`s just that this topic gets discussed and the rediscussed a.s.o.
In this case of course it`s different as it`s about tire alternatives, but also here do not compare a 750 Sport and a Paso. They may be identical in many points, but the rear suspension, swingarm, linkage etc is different.
There`s a dealer in Germany offering a conversion to a 130/70-16 and 180/60-16. I had mentioned this in another post. This dealer also includes TÜV which means that it`s streetlegal with official permission. Of course it requires some mods like shifting the sprockets etc.
There have been comments in other posts that these tire sizes are cruiser sizes and made for heavy bikes like the Goldwing that`s why they weren`t suitable for the Paso and I partly agree.
These persons refer to tires like this one here:

Of course this tire is the wrong choice also because of the H speed index.
But Avon offers another one which is this one (AM23 w/ V speed index):

This is a performance tires and used for classic racing also.
There`s also a matching front tire I just can`t recall which model it was.
I personally see this as an alternative as I do not want to switch to 17" wheels although I once had started this project with a different fork and Marchesini wheels.
I`m now back to 16" Marvics and when the engine is completely finished and I get to the suspension this will be what I`ll use.
