I am willing to order the part because the closest ducati dealer is over 300 miles away, so where I am from should not matter. but i have added my location. Saint George, Utah.

This is an international group so yes where you are matters on the replies you need.

Try Ducati of Omaha, very helpful bunch with lots of parts most Ducati dealers don't want to bother with.

The factory petcock sucks. I replaced mine with a better one. http://www.mgcycle.com/product_info.php ... ts_id=1320 Make sure you get the one with the side outlet. the down outlet won't clear the frame.

I don't know the thread size. I pulled the petcock off of my moto guzzi and matched it up against the stock petcock. Exact same nut, width thread size and count etc. The new petcocks fuel passageway looks larger/ flow more fuel, and the guzzi petcock has a much larger filter. It's worked great so far.

forgot to note, you'll want to leave it on the reserve position, or remove the plastic tube underneath the filter screen.
