Re: So what do you do?
I'm retired. All I do is ride and work on old motorcycles. Also, Higgy don't know if they still do, but long ago when I worked as a mechanic, Cornwell made the best ratchets in the industry.

Like Maico88 I'm now retired having taken a voluntary redundancy deal from the university where I worked just over a year ago. I spent most of the previous 35 years working in educational television as a technician. All I do now is ride bikes and work on them, servicing other folks Ducatis for them and a few other bikes too.

Me? Hmmmmm . . .. Well I used to be a solicitor and moved on when my firm cut half its staff. I have started playing with property in Central London. I come from, and still have a home in, West Wales.
I have always liked/loved bikes and have - after a long break - just got back into them, well just Ducatis actually. I currenlty own a 916s, an 851 and a 907ie. I intend to buy a Triumph Rocket III (only because the Diavel is too expensive)

Re: So what do you do?
Hi all, I am a crane operator, rigger, heavy haulage platform operator on an iron ore mine site in the pilbara region (north west) of Western Australia. It is hot, humid and dusty for most of the year but the work is rewarding and the pay is good. I am on site for 2 weeks and off for 1, which affords me some opportunities to ride the old girl. Weather in Perth (where I live) is good riding weather most of the year I'm happily married to a very long suffering, cracker of a mrs and have 3 teenage kids (hence the need for the bike purchase) which all believe they are 21
I guess Daisy is my mid life crisis (I'm 44) but what better vehicle to choose?
