air box refitting

Post by duc907 »

Has anyone found an easier way to get the air horn back on the vertical throttle body? I am having a hard time getting the lip of the horn back in the air box. Thanks for the help.

wrap a few turns of string around it before you attempt to pull it through. Make it long enough to get a griip on it or wrap an end around a dowel or screwdriver. Pull the string into the airbox first. Pull the string once you have the boot started to help guide the rest into the hole...Have not tried it yet but plan to on my next re assembly :banghead:
