We imported quite few sets but they are going fast. If you need a set soon, we suggest to order them sooner rather than later. If you don't need one soon than we will have more in the next shipment.

Do anybody want to tell us if they have good grip? I use my Paso with prehistoric Michelin: the grip is worse than death but I like the handling. I use another options: 130-70/16 and 120-70/17 and I like the grip but not the handling. I'm wonder if with Golden tires is possible to have the Michelin's handling with a better grip.

a bit off topic but I`m wondering why a GT071 in 160/60-15 costs only about half of a GT071 in 160/60-16.
Is that just supply and demand ?!

They may not have manufactured so many, but either way, there's at least a bit of supply + inflate

Why would they be gone ? Is this because of low stocks, limited production or something like that ?

It would be good to know how many they made, but they're def. not going fast enough, so who knows.
But at these prices, they're probably sufficiently profitable to keep making them.

Hi Pompone,
I'v only made approx. 300km with the new Goldentyre (rear). The handling is superb. Concerning grip I'm not really certain what to tell you. in October I've made my last "round" on my "testtrack" a well known Monuntain near my house. It was cool (approx. 8 degrees) and there were some humid parts. Near the summit (it was dry in that corner) I had a slight slide on the rear. That made me a bit thinking. But in fact the conditions were not ideal, and the tire is almost new.
I'm asking myself what other guys experienced so far with the Goldentyre.
I still have a good rear michelin on the 906 (seems it has been stocked correctly). It's still working perfect. The Michelin was quite OK when you have it on temperature, and no rain...... If the Goldentyre has a comparable grip without the temperature and rain issue I would be glad.
Therefore I'm eager myself about the experience of other Paso drivers

I ride my Paso in Mallorca Island (Spain). Here, we have 8º few days in a year. I will try to contact to my local dealer . I think these tires are a good solution. Thank you for your coment.

G'day all, I've done a few thousand clicks on my set and they seem to be wearing very well. I can lean it right over with full confidence and haven't come unstuck so far. Getting away from the lights the front will come up before the rear loses grip (this is dry weather riding in ambient Oz temps) I have been caught in the rain only once (tyres were nice and warm) and took corners and roundabouts with due diligence at first, but then relaxed and rode normally, kept up with traffic and took corners like I used to when I was young and fearless * knowing I had new, medium compound good all rounders on. I haven't posted any pics of a busted up 906.....so it's safe to assume it hasn't slid down the road!!
Infact, when me and Harry went for a blast up the coast I rode a little hard in some places to give him an idea of how they perform as he was considering a set.

* This is my first bike since 1997. I have been riding since I was 12 (dirt bikes) and got my first road bike when I was 17. I have owned Yamaha XS250, Suzuki RG250, Kwaka Z750 twin, Kwaka Z750, Honda 750four, Suzuki GS650, Yamaha XS1100 tourer, MotoGuzzi v65 Lario, Yamaha TRX850 which was my last bike in 96/97.


There was a chook chaser in amongst that lot too somewhere...DT250...I think...I was a motorcycle courier for a while...learnt how to dodge cars! That was a long time ago, I'm 43 now. So yeah, I've ridden a bit in all kinds of weather (cept snow) on all kinds of bikes, on all kinds of tyres. I would have liked to get more kays on my GTs before doing a review but from what I've found so far, they are a good tyre for this kind of bike considering the main duties of the Paso.

Your list looks correct, except for the 1990 900 SS. All that I have seen have the same 17" wheels as the 907 Paso.
