1991 907ie rear brake pedal repair

I sheared off the pedal. Its been on order from ducati for months now. Any suggestions how to repair until (if?) I get the part so I don't have push the arm with the inside of my foot?

Just drill a hole through the arm (where the original pedal was), fit a 8mm bolt in there and lock it with a nut and loctite from the outside. Done.

Had done this (nearly) with the gearlever this year (fixed the original Plastik with a bolt).

I tried order pedal one month ago, but they say in Ducati dealer, that its NOT ANYMORE available :ugh: AGAIN some Ducati spare part, what is not anymore available
