Hi Everybody,

I am from France and I recently bought a Paso.
Before that I always rode Ducatis since I have my motorcycle driving licence (2005).
I first bought a 600 monster that I still ride as a daily ride in Paris and its area.
It has 92000km on the clock and it is time to swap the engine for a newer.
I also have a 600 Pantah and a 750 TT I built during my mechanical engineering studies, but it is not the point.

I wanted to buy a Paso for a long time.
As far as I remember it started when I was looking for an engine for my TT project.
I realized that the Paso were usually disassembled for their engine and fork, and nobody care about them.
Last june I stopped to listen to my friends and I bought a 750.
I changed the wheels for black ones, rebuilt the heads and cut the rockers, rebuilt the fork, changed the brake lines and disc...
I also upgraded the wiring with the relays on the coils and the main alimentation.
Soon I will clean the weber and try to adjust it better.
At first I wanted the Paso as a second daily bike. Now I am conscious that it a funny second bike.
How fun it was in Paris with the red Paso!
People are amazed to see a 26 years old guy on this old bike.

Obviously all what I changed and upgraded was inspired by the DucatiPaso.org community.
Thank you guys for animating this place!

that`s a nice bike
It`s interesting to see that exhaust and the side fairings with the DESMO stickers in combination with the chromed rear grab rail and silver upper triple clamp of the earlier models. Ducati really mixed everything they had in stock.

Thanks Guys!

Yes 750Paso that is really disturbing.
I realized only today that my Paso is a 1987 (my birth year!), helped with the frame number.
Before that I was lost by this mix of parts and the administration registration document refers to 1990.
So this bike spent 3 years waiting for its first owner...

And I still don't understand why it was equipped with white wheels (original paintjob with red Ducati logo), and with these exhaust pipes (I would have prefered the orther ones as the 851 Tricolore).

Same kind of mix with my Pantah.
Funny italian people :)

if it´s a '87 like mine it should have "Controlled air flow" instead of "Desmo" on the sides but maybe the panels were changed in the past. The seat might have gotten a new cover as well as it normally would be red.
Out of curiosity what are the part numbers on the silencers ?

thanks. As I imagined that`s a part number that isn`t listed in any parts cataologue, not P750, 906 or 907ie. The old P750 part numbers very often start with 0370...
Part numbers starting with 574... or 573... are used on later model years like 906 and 907ie.
I wonder if Ducati changed from the cigar shaped type to this one in '88 or '89.

Hello dear all.

It is a long time I did not post a message.
But I wanted to share my happiness about my Paso today.

Last months I changed the Weber (that I did not succed to tune) for Mikunis.
I was not very happy of them, they were really gas consumming.
So last weeks I changed them for a pair of FCR, I put some round teeth belts and pulleys, dialed the cams, changed the regulator fo an electrex (now sitting betwen the battery and the rear wheel).

First test was this morning on the way to work.

What a fun bike! The engine is awesome and torkfull at every rev.

I Love it this way!
