Hello all,

Troy here from the very middle of the US.....Kansas USA. Origionally a Florida guy growing up on GSXR's and Yamaha FZ's, I graduated to the Ducati ranks with a shiny new 999 in 2003 (actually bought while I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan). From that moment on, everything else was second best. I was addicted to the savage roar of the V-twin and monster torque, which pulled me away from all my inline four friends on the island.....and left them trying to determine if they were ready to make the switch as well.
Since, I have picked up a 98 900CR, which has dual D-n-D pipes and sounds like a jet boat on steroids, a beautiful 88 750 Paso in the Metallic Blue color, and as of yesterday, a soon to be resored 90 906 Paso. I just retired from the US Army and am now in back in college finishing my Welding and Automotove degree's......though MMI in Orlando is kinda calling my name. haha

I have found a wealth of knowledge here in the forum here and am hoping to be a helpful addition to the group. Seems like an awesome group of riders/mechanics and I'm very impressed (and inspired) by your work.

Thanks for the add and in addition to seeing your posts here in the forums, I hope to get together and ride with some of you in the years to come. If you are ever in Missouri, check out Hwy 19 (runs north/south) and is probably one of the most twisty, hilly, fun roads I have ever ridden.

Take care and keep her sunny side up!

LOL, thanks Mates and its good to be among those who share the same interests, as well as some hearty laughs. I've visited Oz (Sidney up to Bris) on vacation after returning from Bosnia, but have yet to make it to New Zeland...heard its a sportsmans paradise though. Just returned from Ireland in late Jan and man are those guys a trip.....but they love to drink and sing a good song. LOL

Thanks for the welcome and will be watching out for ya'll on the posts.

If you want to get to NEW ZEALAND you gotta be able to spell it :) that's how we keep all the Aussies out ,( and that's why the Aussies call Australia "Oz".......coz they can spell that :D :D )

My bad, I'll buy a vowel for $5 and hit the ferry on over. LOL Funny that my friend I learned the "OZ" from was a Doctor as well. haha So I'm imagining there are a lot of great twisties over there in NEW ZEALAND with the mountains and all. You guys have any video's on You Tube or anything? I'm thinking about getting one of those Go Pro camera's and filming some of the roads in Missouri. Kansas here is boring and rather flat/straight. LOL
