I have an '87 paso and I annoyingly need a new headlight because the vehicle testing guy says my low beam is too hi and the adjuster screw is stripped.
on ebay there is one that looks like mine for 140 bucks and an 88 headlight for 56 bucks. anybody had experience with interchange?

I swapped the old CEV unit with a Koito.
It`s the same as on the Yamaha FZ750. No mods required.

How come the screw thread is stripped? You haven't touched it - must've been him.

Pablo , we must be able to fix a stripped thread , not like its holding up a bridge or lives depend on it ..... so maybe try bogging the hole with epoxy and then re-drill and tap it, or even try a helicoil . You gotta watch those E-bay headlights , if it dips the wrong way ( like from USA ) they can fail you on a W.O.F .Lemmie have a look at mine ( cant find it .... just moved house ) and I,ll see if I cant figure a cure , someone else was moaning about this not so long ago
I wish I was young again............Id be heaps smarter than last time
