Welcome and Hello Thebenelliman nice to see a new UK member, was your bike from another member?
Re your fairing the part you are looking for does not appear in the for sale rags and sites that often so may be a bit hard to find unless another member has one spare.
However I could either lend you mine to make a copy or see if I can mock up some moulds for you as mine is awaiting a full repaint.

Congrats on getting a 907 again.

Oddly, my bike was missing the aero part also when I bought it. I wonder if they work their way loose, or just get damaged in the garage.

I bought one from another member that it is black, but my bike is red. I keep searching Ebay and Craigslist for a replacement, but have never seen one for sale. I'll probably make a copy of it with some of the magician/technicians at work. What color is your bike?

Cheers, Phil

Thanks Guys my bike is Red if I can't find a spoiler I will come back to you about moulding it?
I bought the bike on EBay so I don't know if a member owned it. It had a lowered seat which I have replaced with an original one. If any member is after a lowered seat let me know I only want what it cost me for the replacement seat

i was hoping to take the bike for a spin today but it has snowed in the UK ! what is the weather like around the world? has anybody got out and about to anywhere interesting. last year i took two of my small Benellis to Pesaro in Italy the home of Benelli we had a fantastic week riding our bikes around the hills .
if you have never ridden in Italy you should go its fantastic ,great roads, great people and great food! The Italians are so welcoming and hospitable. Pesaro is not far from Bologna and well worth a visit , as well as a Benelli Museum it also has the Morbidelli museum the best in the world. The next town along the coast is Rimini which used to be the home of Bimota and is where Tamburini designed our bikes! that whole area is motorcycle central. Renzo Pasolini died whilst riding a Benelli Four which is my link between the Benellis i have and the 907IE. i love the design of the 907ie and like the Benelli 900 sei some people think that it is not a proper Benelli because of the body work. Having ridden both bikes i think they are every bit part of the mark as any other model!

My old next door neighbour was given (bequeathed) a clean roadworthy 1970's 250c about 14 years ago with just leaking fork seals, I begged him to sell it to me for a handsome sum but he was determined to replace the seals and become a Born again Biker on it. Sadly it sat rusting away rapidly in his back garden until he moved, when he slung it in a skip after taking an angle grinder to it a couple of weeks before he moved. Broke my heart seeing there in shattered bits :,( . He never did get back on a bike either.

There are around 50 250 2c registered in the Benelli club but you only see 1or 2 at a Rally, shame they are great bikes an Italian RD 250! . Too many bikes rot away in sheds and under covers, it's better to move it on an let someone make something of it again!

Agree, My Guzzi 850t was stored in a delapitated shed with ivy growing up thru the bike .. we had to use hedge cutters to free it . Some guy had got the local country garage to do up the motor ( I have 3 grand worth of receipts from 1981 ) and it seized a hundred yards up the road , so he packs a shitty and sells it and then 2 brothers got into a feud over it and in the end one sold it so the other couldn't have it, enter my brother-in-law , who chucked in said shed at his Mums . For ten years I berated him , told him he was criminally negligent , but it sat there rusting , decaying , dog ate the seat , and just when it was on the brink of total #uckedness ..............he gave it to my Mrs for her 40th...... and

Eagle eyes will spot the non standard parts but it beats the shit outa leaving it to rust :)

Nice bike much better used than left to rot! Originality is best left to Pot Collectors I prefer to ride my bikes rather than fuss over non standard valve caps!

It is rather nice, but I wonder how long a set of piston rings last with no air filters?

I have fitted the missing spoiler to the fairing, I think it's a great improvement !.
