Öhlins rear shock owners!
Hi You there!
How many 750 Paso owners have Öhlins rear shock in they bikes? Any problems with Öhlins? I think, Öhlins came with some quite "early modell 750 Pasos"... Anybody here??? My bike have and its put to street 1989.
Ok, anyway, i want to say, that mine was in Öhlins maintainer and guy there say, that for this shock, its very important to adjust quite often that spring preload knob, that its not get stucked.
If someone want to sell Öhlins to reasonable price, i would be intrested, especially those, what are not working currently now.

Fraser, seems, that U know something about Fin language
I havent have any problems with that turning knob(what U mean?), but i mean that its good to adjust it enough often, that just that knob really change that spring preload IN SHOCK.

Terve Antti,
We have many plesant memories from our 2 years in Finland. I enjoyed the weather very much, especially winter (honest) as it is so cold and dry and so different for us. Now of course we have a sauna at home (just renewed the interior and kiuas as we had a small fire that destroyed the ceiling!) and regularly enjoy grilli makara.
Perkele, Jumalauta, turpa kinni, etc were regular outburts heard at work (my spelling is probably a odd).
Am looking for some mirror/indicator pods as I can not find any locally. The Cagiva Freccia was not imported into NZ, so none of those available. Do you have the email contact of a Cagiva parts supplier that I could contact? Thanks.

SKINS !!!!!! Here is also Fraser from "Uusi-Seelanti", who knows FINNISH SAUNA !!!
Fraser, Its very nice to hear Your comments from Finland, winterwonderland, especially, when they are quite positive!
I see, that You have learned many useful words and things from my country
About mirrors: Sorry, but i dont know that "pod"(my english is very bad...), but i can tell, that if U meant that orange lens in mirror, its very cheap, about 7 Euros from Ducati dealer, but that complete mirror coast now here about 294 Euros and those are just those new bad quality Cagiva Freccia mirrors. Those older ones are not anymore available, so, if they can be fixed with glassfibre/new paint/clearcoat, its very good choise to those not so good Frecchia mirrors

Antti,
Unfortunately it is not possible to repair the indicator/mirror assemblies, they were too badly damaged. The fence got one side and the road the other. Have submitted a story about this, hoping someone will take pity on me and provide the secret source for the indicator/mirror.
Sounds like there is some previous history about Antti/Skins/sauna??

Fraser, Trademe is worth keeping an eye on, as you may know, and do you know of these guys also?
Phil at desmocycle@paradise.net.nz in Christchurch, and
http://www.corsa.co.nz in Auckland
I only know Antti from the site here, but I love saunas. Used to have full size walk in two person all wood one in my previous house.

Hi Fraser
My friend have bought here a couple of mirrors which have paid €. 250,00 (unfortunately are new and so these are Freccia type).
I also have bought thru him a couple of orange glasses.
If you are interested I can try to ask him.
You said about a wrecked 906.
I'm searching for a tank support (if straight) that I would want to weld on my frame because the mine has some dent.
When I've rebuild my home I wanted to make in a sauna. My wife decided on no...
Ciao
Francesco

Francesco, CHANGE You wife to another one IMMEDIATELLY, try find that brown eyed redhed! I have heard, that those LOVE "hole body massage" in Finnish Sauna very much!
I can buy next week from one shop that Paso complete mirror for 139 Euros, ONLY LEFT side is still available there. I think, its red one. Should i buy it to someone, cause i have already some spare ones to myself. Its that newer "FAR-1689"
I go next week to Helsinki and i can visit that shop there. But shipping can coast some money? I know, via Ducati dealer it coast much more.
Skins: Everybody, who have visited Finland, are very intelligent person :funny:
Fraser: one time my Paso mirror was in 6 totally broken pieces and it takes some time to fix all together with fiberglass, but i managed very well, that after painting/clearcoating it was JUST like new one. I think, everything, what man have mede, can be fixed also.
But maybe need to teach to U more Fin language, especially U need those strong words, if U start that mirror fixing

Hi Finn,
I already thought about it.
But I've reached to the conclusion that it's useless to change the wife for another one...
You will get the same problems.
The best is to be without her.
If you have fixed a mirror broken in 6 parts, you are a wizard of puzzles!!!
Hi Fraser,
as tells Finn the shipment from Europe could be very expensive.
But if you are interested to buy a mirror let us know.
Someone has a wrecked Paso ????
Ciao
