500 euro , it would want to be farrrrrrrkin good , I guess if it made the difference between a motor that goes and one that doesn't ..............
I wish I was young again............Id be heaps smarter than last time

Haha. Yeah, she's not cheap by any stretch. But i think mine might be playing up. I have a lot to check off before I'm sure and there's a lot of posts here to help me with that, so that's not a conversation for here. I'm just trying to see what my replacement options are if I have to go that route.

Re: Carmo "replacer" units?
I replaced my Digiplex 2S ECU last year with a new one, and indeed it made a difference. I think the diaphragm was dead on the old one making the vacuum advance non-operational. Our friend in Australia had a few of them. They were only $150, but he had only a few of them.

Re: Carmo "replacer" units?
There are various version of digiplex, with different unit number such as MED 442A or MED 500A and each one of these is done to be installed on a different engine (moreover italian cars) I'd like to have further info from your friend as I must help my nephew living in Australia
have a nice ride, Nicola

Re: Carmo "replacer" units?
the Carmo units are fine.
My son's 900ss needed a set of CDI units and those from Carmo ran better than the original ones.
regards, Bertus
