Doing the 900ss CV carb swap

Post by viper1 »

I decided to pick up a set of 94 900ss carbs to toss on the 750. I'm sick of dealing with the Weber issues! Whats all needed to make the switch? The carb manifolds & rubber gaskets. I'll end up getting separate filters....anything else I need to get or should know?

I just did mine, and I am using a small vacuum fuel pump, (3psi), with a return line that t's off just before the carbs. All the info was on the forum.

I'm setting mine up this week, once the carbs are on, you'll need a small vacuum fuel pump, i replaced the screw in my intake manifold with an M5 x 6mm brass fitting, my fuel line comes out of the tank and goes to a fuel filter, then the vacuum fuel pump then to a t or y, one line will go to the carb and the other is a return back to the tank. They also recommend a small bottle for the two vent tubes and the float bowl overflow line also. Once mine is set up, I'll add some pics if you'd like.
