Removing Rear Spring

Still working on my 906 refurb...assume I need to remove the remote reservoir to remove the spring off the shock absorber..for cleaning/repainting....but what is in the rubber line, oil or nitrogen??? and what size c spanners do I need??

If the shock is the same Marzocchi Duo-Shock as fitted to the 907 then there is no need to remove the reservoir to get the spring off. Unless you are having the shock professionally rebuilt I'd leave the reservoir well alone.

Yes it is, so spring will slip over the adjuster on bottom mount?

yep , and dismantling the reservoir aint that big a deal either , basically it got a rubber bag ( bit like a condom ..... cept thicker ) that separates the oil and the air / nitrogen ( if you have it ),..... just make sure you let it all out before dismantling
