Brake overhaul, need some advice

Post by Ronald »

Hello to you all,

Currently I'm working on getting my Paso back on the road again. A full overhaul of the brake system is part of that. As the discs are a bit rusty I'd like to know how to renew the 'bronze finish' layer on the inner diameter of the discs. What is the name of the surface treatment that they used in the Brembo factory? If possible I'd like to restore it instead of painting this part with heat resistant paint. Any good experiences with surface treatment companies in Benelux? Thank you for your help!

Regards,

Ronald

Although not the actual supplier I used ( they no longer trade on Ebay) I actually did it myself using a similar product to this with very good results. If you look in tyheir list they state that they have various Brembo colours available.
