Yeah but , I thought the idea of the image host was supposed to be a convenience to us the user , but I never expected them to be a secure thing . At the end of the day nothing is for sure but I save anything of value on a disc and a flash drive as well as on the hard drive . Andrew , I think that the web site ( ducatipaso ) stores the image , which is why there is a limit on numbers and size , Im sure that if Im wrong there will be a stampede :D

Andrew2 wrote:But who hosts the photo?. If you delete the photo from your phone then who is hosting it, how does it stay here Sorry for the thread jack but I'm looking for a new way to post photos without losing them all like last time when photobucket decided to blackmail all of us.

Nice work on your bike too mate
I use Google Photos and if you have an Android phone it has the added advantage that it can upload your photos automatically so that they are all backed up in the cloud.

Plus one on the nice work

I love the Guzzi Lemans. I had a choice between my MHR900 and a MK111 Lemans in '84. They were both side by side in the showroom and the one deciding factor was the Guzzi was white and I wanted a red one. I still have the MHR.

Ha ! my Guzzi was also my 1st real attempt at car painting ...........and it looks like shit all the black paint shrunk and cracked under the clear and I was duely bummed ................... until as I left the stoke classic bike rally two guys were standing by my bike and one said tother as I approached " how cool , it still has the original paint " .......top bloke , sure knows quality when he sees it, but that'll do me :)

That is funny, mate it's obviously not as easy as it looks , I been painting all kinds of shit since a kid , got a local auto paint shop who also builds custom bikes, he walked me through the guzzi paio be oont and since then I got a cash converter bargain , iwata pininfarina gravity fed gun, no excuses now they say, pressure will be on , I want the 900 paint to be flawless probs won't happen but I will show you pics antway

This is how I hooked the compressor to clutch cover to help release the slave piston, drilled a hole through the top of banjo and bronzed nitto to that

I think the paint was dodgy , the black ( aerosol acrylic ) took ages to dry let alone harden , I left finger prints in the paint when removing masking tape a week later . But I did get smart in the end ..... took the RD stuff to the painter . Don't know why it took so long to learn  , specially since I have proven many times that I cant paint for shit

Definitely my for everyone I had lots of attempts at the guzzi stuff till I got it pretty good, and I'm a painter/ decorator by trade, lots of variables to deal with , I will stick with acrylics as a bit more user friendly, so it's a base coat of colour then a clear over that, so you sand your colour really flat before the glossy clearcoat revives the colour and gives the gloss look which you can buff any imperfections or dust out
