I've just started my 750 Sport Restoration and the steering head ring nut is broken. I've had it drawn in Solidworks and have a quote for CNC machining it in 7075 Aluminium which should make it stronger than the original.
Before I press the button on this I wondered if anyone else needs one, as I hear it is a common problem and is the same arrangement on the Paso. I'm not looking to make any money on this, just get mine a bit cheaper. As a one off it looks like it will cost US$160 including the shipping and I won't know the final cost until I have a quantity to aim for.
