Wrecked 750?!

Post by carart66 »

So, after getting my 750 up and running (had to put a new clutch pack in, and believe it or not, I put in a 1098 clutch pack in!!) I took it to a show... raced a Mustang on the way home, along with have a few whiskey and waters, and took a turn to sharp on original 1994 Michelins!! . Dropped the bike. Need an Rt. side faring, mirror, rear blinker (oem) and front piece (the one that housed the light. Oh, and a new tank. Red, any suggestions? I want to restore (and not race). LOL.

I have the fairing pieces and mirror, but they are well used, and in need refurbishing, painting and decals. If all else fails you can get these parts from me cheaply. I could beat Ed's prices easily for similar (non) quality parts, but hopefully he has some nice stock on hand for you. Valtermotors (?) on eBay has a couple of N.O.S. tanks (minor imperfections) that seem to be good deals @ $300ish. Best of luck in the future. Contact me if I can supply you. :-)

I actually have a spare red tank I'd be willing to sell. Once, I had daydreams of assembling a whole second set of skins for a custom paint job, tank included, but haven't bothered chasing that down to completion. So, that said, I have a red tank, that's been collecting dust & taking up space. It's not pristine, and would still need a cap, and some work, if I recall correctly.

If you're interested or just curious, I can provide pictures. Just let me know.
Just because you're not dead doesn't necessarily mean you're living, either.
