HELP! 17 inch wheel conversion. All AOK Except Speedo won't

Thanks for your note! Think that may be the best option for me as well. What did you use to shave off the metal? Looks like hardened steel in the center.

Decent file. Checked it with vernier to get it right. I bought a batch of copper washers to substitute for drive to mock up and work out reqd width.

I put a mechanical km converter at the drive that almost corrects it.
Do you have more infos and maybe a picture of that? How does that work and how is it adjustable? I was looking for something like that a longer while ago but couldn't find anything.

Km converters are simply a reduction gearbox that goes inline with the speedo cable at the back of the clocks. The reduction is around .621 so that a km speedo will read miles.

The gold one screws straight onto the drive. Done quite a few 1000 miles and it still works. My speedo now reads about 5-10% slow so I have to be careful past cameras.
The blue ones are for speedo end but is wrong thread for our bikes.

Anybody know the ratios for a 1992 Ducati 750 ss speedometer?
