Re: Oil leaks 89 900 ss
I had to do a dummy fairing fit prior to f/ glass and paint anyway so all my bitching and moaning about clipons was a bit weak , she wants to rub on the clutch cover so it's a good thing to sort out then I'm closer to the fun stuff looking forward to the panel and paint

Still trying to centre the fairings a bit better , I'm sure I'll work it out in the end , tbh I didn't pay enough attention when I first stripped her , I got a new old front subframe which came with the new old headlight , the original s/f was a bit bent I , slightly but maybe that's the one it needs, both fresh powdercoat so I may pull her right back and the switcheroo see if it helps

The nos clipons work perfectly easy with the tank on and the larger brake

Pretty sure this is where it wants to be only thing is the center gap extended , maybe making new brackets/ plate out of some plate like in the pic and new rubbers and screws, I will keep trying to get it better but last resort I'll be happy enough with the plate, don't want it rubbing and knocking on the clutch cover

No more trying to fit the fairing till I get all the new screws and rubbers, don't want the l
Fairing/ spacer plate really, she was at some stage dropped on the right side, evident by the original bent clipons, crack in the top fairing at lower bolt for mirrors on right, changed (retrofitted ) lower fairing on right and slightly out original subframe , I have new staunchions although old were straight, it may be as simple as new rubbers and a tweak to the side brackets, money's a problem as usual otherwise I'd be moving forward quickly now , haven't gone stagnant atleast , thanks for following my posts it helps to keep motivated

I think I'm starting work it out , basicly block it up nicely and it all looks good atm , get new fittings and tighten it up and happy days can't believe I haven't already done this , inexperienced in the art of full fairing fitment
