Rear calliper plate

Post by Kmamac »

Does anyone know for sure if the 750 paso and 906 Paso rear calliper mounting plate is the same. (The alum8nium part that the calliper bolts to with one corner of the plate having the rear wheel spindle going through it).
The stein dense diagrams look identical although the parts numbers are different. The lug on mine has broken off and I would like to replace. There are two cheapest 750 ones on eBay which I would like to buy.
Many thanks in advance

Hi Keith,

I was surprised to actually see 2 part numbers for the 750 (037080050) and 906 (82510021A) rear brake base plate, but rest assured, even in the case that they are not identical (I would be surprised) they are 100% interchangeable.
The swing arm numbers are the same for the 750 and 906, as are the rear brake caliper and rear axle, locking screw and the excentrics.

Good luck!

Keith,

if you want to be 200% sure you could order a new one from Stein Dinse:
https://www.stein-dinse.biz/product_inf ... rettyPhoto

P&P to the UK €10,90 so in total €49,71 (about 45 gbp).
That is until Brexit kicks in

just an option ....

Cheers Frank,
I thought it very unlikely to be different but I wanted to be 100% sure. Reason being I have accumulated the odd thing on eBay Over the years that might be the same- but turn out not to be ! Don’t want to add to the pile of bits.
I see one at £18.85 on eBay so will take this option. The brexit thing genuinely worries me on top of the huge impact of the corona virus on the economy. As we say with our tongue in our cheek over my way ‘ want to leave the worlds biggest trading block and the worlds second largest economy? What could possibly go wrong!!!
Strange days indeed
Best regards
Keith
