Has anyone tried an engine swap?

Post by sv2dfu »

Hi all, my 1987 PASO 750 is completely dead. I am talking about engine misfiring, lots of metal particles on the chip detector magnetic plug, and non cooperating carbs, both weber and micuni options..
I am sick and tired of just spending money on local experts.. they have good intentions but nothing more.
On FB was chatting with some guys, they said best option easier to fit on the frame is the Cagiva Elefant..
Has anyone tried this? any feedback would be highly appreciated, before I get into spending more money.
Thanx in advance
Peter

I've wondered about that myself, and whether one could fit a 900 Monster engine? There are plenty of them out there.
