so what does everyone think about hagon shocks. i need a new shock for my 907,

Is the old one past a rebuild ?
I wish I was young again............Id be heaps smarter than last time

Well it depends a bit on which shock you have . If the shaft is ok and its not leaking oil just pulling it to bits and giving it a good clean out and fresh oil can make a difference . There are still some parts available , The seal is probly the most important and I have not yet failed to find something that fits in any of the shocks I have fixed on my own vehicles .
I had a VFR750 and did the re oil , I cunningly used slightly thicker oil ( to allow for internal wear ) than what Id guessed the original stuff to be :roll: so yeah nah , wasn't 30w .... more like 10w . :lol:
Depends on how much messing about your into. A new shock sure would be easier.
Have a look in the FAQ's as Im sure this has been come up before now .

My 907ie has a Hagon shock and it handles well and is good value for money

Well there you go :) :cool:
I bought budget Hagons for my Guzzi 15 years ago and while not having had much use they don't leak and haven't gone rusty.... yet.
I have a notion that Hagon make shocks to suit a few budget levels .
I wish I was young again............Id be heaps smarter than last time
