Front cylinder running lean

Attached is a pic of my plugs. The rear one looks darker in the photo than it actually is. To my mind it is about right but that front plug is white looking.
I've just changed from plugs with a heat range rating of 8 to ones that are 9. The plugs in the photo are the original 8's I put in when I first got the bike.
I have no knowledge of the weber carburetor, is there a main jet for each cylinder or just one for both?

one for each pot . Do you have the info to ballance carb barrels ? .... bypass screw etc

Yep , I learnt the hard way , but do have a look at the weber mods , and there is a good one on Paso cam timing too . Mine was miles out so I fitted adjustable cam pulleys .

Keep it in mind while reading the jetting doc all the settings are derived for a different carb than what comes on the original sport. Most 750 Paso came with 42 mm carb throat and the 906 a 44 mm.

also there are several folks here have done jetting on the sport and can be found by doing a search

Thank you for that info. The man at weber specialists who serviced my carb said to check my front manifold rubber for leaks first. Makes sense.

Solved: I replaced the manifold gasket and both plugs look the same colour now after a race meeting on the wkd. Its starting better too. The carburation is still far from perfect though. It revs out nicely but transitioning from a maintenance throttle to getting back on the power it surges and fluffs around a bit. Quite a bit actually.
