Headlights

Post by Stepaso »

Hi
I have an American white Paso 750, imported from Arizona, I'm looking to solve the headlight problem, americans drive on the other side of the road from us, my headlight is oriented to provide good brightness on the right side of the road, which in NZ glares into the eyes of on coming traffic, I have it adjusted so it's safe but it looks skew in the fairing.

I'm looking for a replacement that is oriented towards the left, keeping the beam in the side of the road I want to drive on, not the other side. and giving good full and dip.

Has anyone got any idea's on where a new headlight can be obtained.

Have you tried to look for a Yamaha FZ750 headlight? You may find one of those in NZ.

Are they really cast off to one side.....cant say as I ever noticed any of mine angling off to the left.
There is a guy down this way ( Winton -ish. )has a pile of Ducati parts . I think he goes under "Ducati spares" and shows up on trade me . Try searching for Paso motor as I know he has a couple ( was going to put one in my quad ), and I have bought the taillight assy off him . He's a good guy, Andy.
I wish I was young again............Id be heaps smarter than last time

Did you ever get a solution to this Stepaso? I am looking into adapting a J W Speaker part #0554451 = ECE LHT LED High & Low Beam Headlight with Black
Inner Bezel. This part number is for the "left hand traffic" = LHT which is ideal for NZ. Will significantly improve the lighting.
