It's a pity you are in USA.Rlbol wrote:I also have a 1993 888SPO it has 28k miles also in very good condition I am asking $5000 for it
If you was in EU, I would buy your 888.
Have you an idea of the shipment cost?
But, unfortunately they are also the customs

No matter, let me know about it.
Ciao

Unfortunately my wife walked in while I was looking and declared "We don't need any more bikes!"
Dang, I didn't even get a chance to say anything first...
you have to listen to your wife. She knows what is right for you.

A freind of mine who owns way to many bikes has a neat trick. When he gets something new to him (against his wife's orders) he takes the tank off it and parks it in the project line. A couple of months later when his wife catchs him working on it he says: "Honey, I ve had this one for ages!" :funny: At least he's still married

I'm a little bit lucky.
My wife is not too much boring, and then since we don't have children, I can spend a few money for me...
I don't smoke, don't drink, don't bet....
May I buy a bike??? I have only a 907.

This is GOLD! only problem is at the moment my project vehicles only consist of an old Holden Statesman that has been unattended on blocks for the last 5+ years. With only one bike at the moment this might just be a little hard to get away with but I am keen to give it a go. Then again with the state of my shed just now I reckon I could get away with saying that I cleaned up & it has been there all along!Garnet wrote:A freind of mine who owns way to many bikes has a neat trick. Careful with that stuff, wives often know more than they let on! I thought my wife had zero interest in the bikes I've got stashed away. Then one day I heard her tell someone about the Ducati Monza I was working on. How the heck she knew it was a Monza I'll never know... and no, it doesn't say "Monza" anywhere on it.
Point being, just because they don't talk about what's going on doesn't mean they don't KNOW what's going on. Ever heard the saying about giving someone just enough rope to hang himself???
But the best one I heard was a guy who had off site storage for his race cars and would bring a different one hoome every so often. He kept telling his wife "No honey, that's the same one, we just painted it again". She found out. They always find out.
