Cheers, CB
If the (flat) sprocket is behind the retainer clip and you reverse it you just gain the 5mm offset, not 10.To fit this tyre, I had to move the chain over. I estimated this to be 10mm. My front sprocket was offset in by 5mm, so by removing it and turning it over I got the 10mm offset required.
I`d think as the tire is made for heavy bikes it`s thicker, maybe even reinforced so growth will be less than a standard tire.others reckon tyre growth at speed/temperature means

Hi CB
- did you tune or check the speedometer after the conversion?
- is the sidestand working or is the angle know very different than before the conversion (or did you extend the side stand / central stand in any way)?

Hi G,paso750 wrote:CB I don`t get thisIf the (flat) sprocket is behind the retainer clip and you reverse it you just gain the 5mm offset, not 10. This would mean your front and rear sprocket are out of line by 5mm now. (if you replaced your front sprocket with a dished one from a P750 you would gain another 3-3,5mm offset so you could correct it to ca 8,5mm reducing the amount your sprockets are out of line.To fit this tyre, I had to move the chain over.
