I don't think you need the fuelpump, if you have changed to Mikunis, unless the fuelinlet on the carbs is higher up than the outlet of the tank.
Then there is no need for returning fuellines.
I have Dellortos without a fuelpump.
Try to bypass the fuelpump. A fuelline with a y connector to each carb should do the job.
