I dont know about Jap bulbs, but here in Finland ALL NORMAL H4 bulbs are 60/55W and i use ONLY those wattage. Btw, here not for sale such low wattage(35/35W), but surely can be found 100/55, etc.... I think, one very good reason to change twin headlights is that Paso low beam! Its totally useless in dark, and then need better lights(read: twin lights and at least 60/55W bulbs), but WITH SWITCH to dissconnect another light, if dont REALLY NEED, like daytime... Btw, hard to imagine, that 35/35 will give enough light for nightime driving. But surely if those jap light are designed for 35/35 bulbs, its better to use such, cause higher wattage can damage lights.... Anyway i wouldnt shoose such lights.

I think, twin headlight with 60/55W bulbs (AND WITH right SWITCH, if thinking 907IE) is best way to play with this thing! Btw, i have made just to one Paso 906 owner here in Finland fiberglass job to fit twin headlights to front fairing to his 906. I think, he send one day some fotos, so then U can see, what we do here in Finland to our Pasos... :lick: But, You can only wait just now!

please log or photo how it goes and so forth. I love the look and the idea of the dual and just wanna really see how hard it may be to get it done. Lemme know
Hi, I'm new to this forum, but am interested in the headlight mod, as I have recently got a stone through the lens on my 907.
The local dealer has quoted me $1377 New Zealand dollars for a new headlight assembly. I have tried to get a new or used lens only but am told that they only come as a whole headlight unit. Is this correct?
I'm not going to pay that price for a new one so will likely try the dual light mod.
I went riding tonight with a few lads, several Ducs, SS750, S4R, 907ie, 999s, monstas etc etc. Also Jap bikes and a few Aprilias.

907 headlights are a fairly common sight on e-bay. i don't know how much money $1,377NZD is, but with a little patience you should be able to find a reasonably priced replacement headlights on e-bay. good luck.

I am assuming the fz 700 and 750 are the same. I am bidding on the bottom link one. Looks like I may get it.......so whats the verdict on which blubs to use that won't kill the battery?
paso750...
Thanks for the info about ebay. If the seller is willing to package and freight to NZ at my expense I will likely go with this option.
It is likely left side of road as we are in NZ. I was warned that a US part would dip the other way and I wouldn't pass a warrant of fitness for the bike.
For Elton...
$1377 in NZ dollars is presently $947 US dollars. This is for a new unit.
