PS: the guy on the P750 is me btw., that was shortly after I had crashed the bike years ago. Meanwhile it has again its original mirrors

Roger, very well done on getting the photos posted, your ITskills never fail to impress me! Seriously v.g. effort, I think we've a few more if you want to post them too (even some without the bike with those mirrors!)

nothing really. I just found it funny how it was repaired.
I wonder though if that is the result of a crash or if the heavily lightened and machined clutch cover didn`t withstand the forces and broke. (which I can hardly believe).

That can't be considered a repair!! Maybe to limp home but then it would be held on with Ducat Tape and tie wraps. That mess looks more permanent.
those mirrors !

I've gotta believe that all these mirror "upgrades" were done by owners who damaged their factory mirror/turn-signals and either coudn't afford or locate ducati replacements. anybody who's ever tried to find these mirror/turn-signals knows how hard they are to come by and how expensive they are. nobody would remove perfectly good Paso mirror/turn-signals and replace them with the likes of what we see in those pics unless they had no choice. so why don't we cut them some slack and understand their plight rather than bashing them for thrashing the Paso esthetic? This is clearly not voluntary conduct; but rather, a desperate attempt to pass inspection. God forbid one of our still-stock Pasos should fall over and we find ourselves in the same bind!

In fact, since I don't trust of God (and neither of me), I'm thinking to remove the old stock mirrors on my bike, replacing them with the Freccia style ones which I already bought.

it`s like in a museum, what you see are good copies while the originals are well stored in a safe
