Hello again Paso lovers
I need to have your confirmation about the best buy!!
750 paso with it extras and she will be 100 % secure to drive!
907 paso no need extras no need work …… no problems in the future !!
I like the paso 750 and I don’t mind to work to improve same errors from factory.
Happy New Year
Tony

Surely ALL DETAILS make that much easier to choose, but seems that U are in right way, cause U drop 906 away...
Living with injected 907 is easier, that Weber carb 750, but if You think look of bike, then 750 with low profile tires is much better, so if U want bike for Your living room, choose 750 with extras and if U want MOST realible Paso, then go for 907IE and drive it HARDLY in twisty roads....

Btw, If U choose any of Ducatis, You have plenty of work and harm in future.... Its not anyking "daydream" live with those bikes, if You really want to know, how all function... :funny:

the 750 of course is 100% secure to drive. The problems are the availability of the 16" tires and the reliability, above all, of the carburation and the electrics. Someone says it looks better :funny: :funny: :funny: .
The 907 has more modern components, 17" tires and electronic ignition and fueling. So it's a little bit more reliable.
Now, you have to do the choice.
But, they are 15+ years old bikes... Don't forget it.
Ciao

This is the Paso forum so most of us are partial to the 750. I have a 750 and in the long run I think it will be easier to maintain than the 907. As these bikes age, parts will become harder to find. The 750 is a basic/simple enough machine that I will be able to make repairs.tony wrote: I like the paso 750 and I don’t mind to work to improve same errors from factory.
The 750 has 3 real problems; Tire, Electrics and Carb. Electrics can be easily fixed and so can the carb, with a replacement. The tires are also fairly easily fixed with 17" replacements but the 16" tires are still available.
I think the Paso 750 is a better looking bike than the 906/907.

I totally agree with Jon. With some minor modifications the 750 is a very reliable bike.
Some parts getting rare can still be found on ebay once in a while as it seems there`s constantly a Paso being broken and sold in bits somewhere.
I also agree that the Paso 750 is better looking as the 907. The 906 is basically the same regarding the looks as a 750 just with different colours for body and wheels.
Is the 907ie a Paso? I`d personally say no. Of course it`s the next step in evolution based on the 750/906 but on the bike itself it says only 907IE and also if you look at the brochure it does not mention "Paso" anywhere.

Maybe I should have been more specific; This is the 750 Paso discussion area of the Paso forum!persempre907 wrote:Isn't the 907 a Pasojcslocum wrote:This is the Paso forum so most of us are partial to the 750.?

Yes the 907 is a Paso even if Ducati was unwilling to admit it.
Frankie, are you active in the Rome Ducati Club? I was in Rome last year and met many members at some dinners. Maybe we have met?

I don't agree at all.paso750 wrote:Is the 907ie a Paso? I`d personally say no. Of course it`s the next step in evolution based on the 750/906 but on the bike itself it says only 907IE and also if you look at the brochure it does not mention "Paso" anywhere.
In all the 907's papers, and also in its homologation chart, you can read the 907 is a variation of the Paso 906.
I don't know why at the Ducati they decided to keep out the name Paso when the 907 had marketed, but the 907 IS a Paso.

Cause previous 750 and 906 modells DIDNT sell enough well, so they had to try something in factory to that problem!!! That is MAIN reason, why they leave that "Paso" away...persempre907 wrote: I don't know why at the Ducati they decided to keep out the name Paso when the 907 had marketed
.... and U, Frankie are right with those bikes papers, etc... 906 was logical next step from 750 and same 907IE was just step from 906, but "shit had happened already" and only leave some times out of making "allround" Ducati modell(till ST came 97), they managed solve this problem. 907IE IS LAST PASO, no matter, whatkind decails there is in 907!!! Decails DONT kick it out from Paso family!!!!

The 907 IE is a Paso, so as the ST2 is another bike, only the engine is quite similar.
The 750, 906 and 907 have the same frame, dash, lights, the 906 motor is the same of the 907,.....
No matter, the 907 is a Paso. If not, I wouldn't buy it :funny: :funny: !

It seems to me that you said something about how much easier is servicing the Paso as regards as ST :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny:Finnpaso wrote: Anyway if thinking tecnology and improvments of those times(from 907 to ST2), U realize, how much "better bike" ST2 was compared to 907IE
